Open International is pleased to announce that it has finalized an agreement with the City of Fort Collins to deploy its Open Smartflex solution to enhance its ability to provide premier customer care and billing services to its 170,000 citizens along the northern Colorado front range.
Choosing the Open Smartflex solution, which combines a Customer Information System and Operations Support System into a single platform, will provide support to all the utility’s traditional services including electric, water, wastewater and stormwater, as well as extended functionality for the new Fort Collins Connexion broadband services.
This is a landmark event for Open, as Fort Collins represents the first customer in the North American utilities market, a mere 90 days after its official market launch which occurred during CS Week 2018 in Tampa, Florida. Open is teaming up with strategic partner, Milestone Utility Services, a premiere utility Customer Information System (CIS) and systems implementer in North America, to support the City’s deployment.
William Corredor, CEO of Open International, states
“I am proud to announce that we will be working with the City of Fort Collins during this exciting time of transformation and growth.
